Witch, written by Tracey Norman, focuses on the social history surrounding witch trials and a how a woman might become accused of being a witch in the early Elizabethan period. While the story itself is a fiction, it was heavily influenced by actual trial transcripts and everything which takes place in the play did in fact occur to someone at some point in the transcripts which influenced it.
The play is usually followed by a Q&A session with the cast. (If we can't do this on stage find us in the bar after). The length of this can vary but we generally encourage a discussion about the themes touched on in the play and have found audiences often like to chat about the history or the writing process."
