Tea With Lawrence

rose on book

Tea With Lawrence, written by Kristina Norman, addresses the changing views of women at the turn of the 20th century. It is set at the beginning of World War 1, at the turning point in politics where women suffragettes waged their own war and risked their lives and reputations to be considered equal to men. Tea With Lawrence is a light-hearted look at literature of the time, and pays particular attention to DH Lawrence’s candid view of women’s sexuality in his poem Rose of All The World.

Footprint Theatre is a young, vibrant and innovative new company consisting of a mixture of talented undergraduates studying Theatre. The members work in a collaborative manner and produce a number of productions in a year. Although Footprint Theatre works in association with North Devon College and Plymouth University the productions are directed and produced independently.
